Since being established in 2022, our mission at Lavish Designs & Picnics has been to give our clients an elegant and extravagant experience. We're here to make every experience rememberable.

FAQs

Do you provide food?
We provide the option of water or lemonade to drink with reservations. Food is an add-on option. Please look at our add-ons page for options. As always, you can bring your own food if you like.


What happens if I'm late?
We will stay there until you arrive to the location, but keep in mind this will extend into the allotted time for your picnic. Extra time may be available to add for a charge.
We ask if you need to leave early for any reason at all, please give us a call and we can have someone there so that items will not be left unattended. Your picnic shall not be left unattended at any time during the duration of your event to avoid stolen or damaged items.

What happens if it rains?
As weather can fluctuate and not work with us sometimes, if you have booked an outdoor picnic with us and don't have a backup undercover or indoor option where the event can continue as planned, we allow you to reschedule up to 8 days before the date of your picnic. Rescheduling 7 days or less before your picnic will result in a rescheduling fee of $20. Rescheduling must be a date within 2 months of your original picnic. Any fees paid for the original picnic will be transferred towards the new date of your event.
Do you serve liquor?
At this time we do not.

Is there a damage deposit?
There will be a $50 refundable damage deposit attached to your invoice in case of damaged or lost items. You are responsible for the picnic set-up and it's entirely during the duration of your picnic. The damage deposit will be refunded no later than 48 hours after your picnic, granted there are no lost or damaged items, and no professional cleaning required on any of the equipment. If the damages to items surpass the damage deposit, you will be charged full cost of said items.

How does payment work?
Once the details of your picnic have been decided, we will send you an invoice to your email. A 50% non-refundable retainer fee will be due within 24 hours . We will hold your date up to 24 hours, but if the retainer is not received in 24 hours we will cancel your picnic entirely. Payments can be made electronically through E-transfer (i.e. Debit/Credit, Venmo, Cashapp, etc.)
6 days before your picnic we will send you an invoice for the remaining balance. All payments must be received 2 days before your picnic. All payments are non-refundable as we held your date and declined other picnics.
Do you host for Children?
Yes, however the current package cost will still apply.
What about location?
At this current time picnics will be held at Eastern NC local parks. If you'd like something more private, we can deliver and set-up in the comfort of your own home, whether it be in the backyard or inside.
